We provide hand crafted macrocarpa tables, fashioned with complete table settings: placemats, plates, silverware, napkins, and drinks glasses, and surrounded by pillows to perch on. A bluetooth speaker, ice bucket, platters, and yard games can be provided to complete the set-up ambience.
No worries! Auckland has so many idyllic public spaces we've scouted heaps of special lawns and locations for you. We partner with exclusive private gardens and other venues available for hire. Please specify on the form what type of location you’d like and we’ll discuss your options when we speak.

We are now offering a picnic set-up-only hire!
We still arrange a beautiful set table including: blankets, umbrellas, and cushions to your colour palette choice. We offer DIYers the same gorgeous scene we create for our highly bespoke luxury occasions. This will be set-up in advance of your arrival and you'll bring all the consumables. Our picnic set-up hire can be an over the top backdrop for your favorite take-outs with family or friends, or an idyllic atmosphere for a potluck, product launch, or marketing campaign photo shoot.
If the forecast predicts a 50% chance of rain or more on the day of the event, then we provide an opportunity to reschedule the picnic (with 72 hours notice - the catering cut off). We recommend a plan B sheltered option. If it is forecast to rain, you may move your picnic to an indoor location and a decision about relocating must be made no less than 48hrs in advance. Under no circumstances will our picnic equipment be set up in the rain or on wet, muddy grounds.
Our picnics are all for parties from six guests and up to twenty five with our classic low macrocarpa tables. But if you're looking for a romantic proposal picnic, or an intimate date night picnic, we can provide you with the same stunning table with settings for only two, however, the price will be the same as for our smallest standard single table for six guests.
We can only arrange a longer picnic in advance, during your booking process, and an additional fee will apply. If you are finished with your picnic earlier, please provide us a 30 minute lead time via text so we can arrive back at the picnic site for breakdown. You are responsible for all picnic items until we arrive at the conclusion of your 2 hours.
Deposits are non-refundable but if you need to cancel (well in advance of our 72-hour catering cut off if you're having an all-inclusive, catered event) we will work with you to reschedule.
It depends, if you've chosen a bespoke all inclusive package, we provide a filled ice bucket, chilled Antipodes water and teas for our high tea offering.
We don't provide alcohol for any of our picnic experiences but we always provide glassware to accommodate your plans if you choose to make your own arrangements. We work with fantastic vendors that can cater an entire bar with bespoke menus. We will happily discuss options during our consultation.
At this time, all picnics, either a simple set-up hire, luxury package, or fully bespoke event, are for a minimum of six people. We will happily discuss your desires of a luxury picnic for less than six guests, like an intimate occasion for two, but the single table size and our time to travel, set-up, and clean up, remain the same as for six and so does the pricing.
Your luxury picnic will be completely set up, in the location of your choice, awaiting you and your guests' arrival. Your picture perfect picnic will have a comfortably umbrella shaded, beautiful tablescape, with a pillow and complete place settings for each of your guests. We also provide yard games to pepper the grass and provide activity for guests less satisfied to linger at the table.
